Umbraco is a lightweight, open source CMS built on Microsoft .NET technology. Umbraco has built a strong global reputation as a well structured and infinitely scalable CMS framework that is perfect for applications with basic content management requirements or projects requiring lots of custom development.
Intuitive, simple to customise and easy to integrate with, Umbraco has fostered an active and friendly developer community, comprised of over 70,000 developers worldwide, who have built over 250,000 websites on the platform and contributed hundreds of free add-ons to the Umbraco marketplace.
Whilst Umbraco is not a fully featured marketing platform like Kentico, it would be a perfect CMS to accompany any third party marketing platform you already use.
Delete have been an active member of the Umbraco Community since 2011 and are proud to have built a wide array of sites on the platform, including the development of custom plugins that extend the underlying functionality.
Having now mastered the Umbraco CMS and in keeping with the spirit of open source software development, Delete released their first add-on in November 2015.
The add-on is called uTaxonomy and enables users to select values from within the Umbraco tree structure for use elsewhere on the site, e.g. an organisation structure, product category or location.
Our plugin allows you to define such fields in Umbraco easily, and provides an API for searching by such fields, and working with them in your custom code.
