Delete's key objective was to consolidate the three Laureus websites and fundamental parts of the organisation into a unified, modern brand platform that better expresses and communicates who Laureus are and what they do. To surface these stories on the website, we developed a tag-based taxonomy that the site uses to promote and personalise relevant content across the different sections.
Showcasing sporting moments from the Laureus World Sports Awards.
A new flexible awards section which acts as the hub for each year's award activity. This includes: location details, nominations and coverage of the ceremony itself. It is also an archive for all previous awards.
A Responsive Mobile Site.
We took a mobile-first approach for the site, covering the navigation, page templates and components, UX, user interface, gesture interactions, reactiveness and the speed of performance.
We have designed and configured the site around flexible components and template structures. This enables the Laureus team to easily create and modify all key sections of the site to match their respective needs over time.
Integrations & Functionality.
We used Kentico CMS as our central platform of choice taking advantage of its many inbuilt features which allowed us to develop custom web parts for our specific technical requirements. This included: an integrated system allowing users to vote for their favourite 'Laureus Sporting Moments'; integrated videos across the site with video platform, JW Player; a JustGiving donations widget allowing users to choose the JustGiving campaign, the currency and donation amount; using Microsoft Azure to quickly deploy our code.
